Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic and Transport Fuel Driver to join our dynamic team. As a Diesel Mechanic and Fuel Driver, you will ensure the optimal performance of heavy equipment, trucks, and farm machinery while safely delivering fuel to various locations. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines, heavy equipment, trucks, and farm machinery using automotive electrical systems repair, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and other mechanical systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery safely and efficiently.
• Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues accurately.
• Load, transport, and deliver fuel supplies using tractor-trailers while adhering to all safety protocols including air brake systems and vehicle alignment procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance activities, fuel deliveries, inspections, and repairs.
• Assist with fabrication or welding projects as needed to support equipment repairs or modifications.
• Conduct tire service, wheel alignments, and perform heavy lifting tasks with appropriate power tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards related to heavy truck repair, HVAC systems on vehicles, Soldering processes, and overall equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic with dealership experience preferred; strong mechanical knowledge across automotive repair, heavy truck repair, and industrial equipment is essential.
• Demonstrated ability in automotive diagnostics using schematics and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or similar machinery.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems including transmissions, hydraulics, suspension components, air brake systems, HVAC units on vehicles, shocks & struts.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools for assembly or repairs.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience in transporting fuel safely is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; familiarity with tire service is a plus.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and excellent customer service skills for interacting with clients or team members during deliveries or repairs.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
