Position Summary
The Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable & Office Clerk will play a key role in supporting the financial and administrative operations of COAST Cannabis Co. Cannabis Co. Cannabis. This individual will manage day-to-day AP and AR activities, assist with office organization and administrative duties, and contribute to a positive, efficient workplace environment. This individual will report directly to the Controller and CEO. This position offers a hybrid work option after an initial onboarding period, allowing flexibility while maintaining strong collaboration with the on-site team.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR) Duties:
- Send out customer invoices through QBO and monitor accounts for timely collection
- Deposit physical checks and post incoming ACH payments and maintain accurate customer account balances
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding billing or payment inquiries
- Work closely with Sales team on status of their customer accounts
Accounts Payable (AP) Duties:
- Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payment
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of invoices, receipts, and statements
- Code invoices and payments to the appropriate expense accounts
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
Other Accounting Duties:
- Assist the controller with month close duties such as reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards
- Ensure all employees upload receipts in a timely manner for credit cards and reimbursements
Office Administration Duties:
- Manage office supplies, snacks, and general inventory; place orders as needed
- Keep shared spaces tidy, organized, and stocked
- Assist in coordinating travel arrangements for senior leadership, meeting logistics, and company events
- Support HR and management with employee engagement activities and communications
- Serve as a general point of contact for vendors, visitors, and internal teams
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and AP/AR processes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Discretion with confidential financial and company information
- Experience using Quickbooks Online, preferred
- Experience in the cannabis, manufacturing, or retail industry, preferred

Pay: $55, $60,000.00 per year
