We are seeking a motivated and experienced Skilled Construction Laborer to join our construction team. Duties
- Assist with site preparation for particular job and to ensure a safe work environment.
- Operate hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, and concrete mixers to perform tasks like framing, cutting, and finishing.
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute construction plans for carpentry, masonry, roofing, and other trades.
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and restoration work to create durable foundations and structures.
- Conduct inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, skid steers & backhoes when required for material handling or site logistics.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site by properly storing tools and disposing of debris regularly.
- Follow all safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with concrete forming andfinishing techniques is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including forklifts and/or skidsteers & backhoes is advantageous.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
