T&A Freight Hauling, LLC is seeking an experienced, motivated Freight Agent to join our growing team. We are looking for a professional with a strong understanding of freight brokerage, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and maintain profitable shipper relationships.

Candidates with an established book of business are strongly preferred. Experienced agents who can generate new business and build long-term customer relationships are also encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and develop new shipper relationships.
• Manage and grow existing shipper accounts.
• Leverage an established book of business to generate consistent freight opportunities.
• Conduct outbound calls and email outreach to manufacturers, distributors, construction companies, agricultural businesses, and other freight-producing industries.
• Identify recurring freight opportunities and develop long-term customer relationships.
• Gather shipment details and submit quote requests to management for pricing approval.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and prospecting activities.
• Follow company procedures for quoting, customer communication, and load processing.
• Work toward production goals and contribute to the company’s continued growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of freight brokerage experience required.
• An established book of business is preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience in freight sales, shipper acquisition, or freight agent operations.
• Strong understanding of freight brokerage and transportation logistics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable with outbound sales.
• Reliable computer, phone, and internet access.

Compensation

Commission-Based Only — No Hourly Pay or Guaranteed Salary

• Compensation is based on performance and the company’s agreed-upon commission structure.
• No guaranteed income; earnings depend on business generated and applicable commission terms.
• Opportunity to grow earnings by developing new accounts and maintaining profitable shipper relationships.
