Position Overview:
T.A.C.T. of Northern Virginia is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mobile Auto Detail Technician to provide high-quality interior and exterior vehicle detailing services. This role requires strong time management skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while maintaining company standards. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing daily assignments efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full interior and exterior vehicle detailing services
- safely move vehicles to from one garage to another
- Shampoo carpets and upholstery
- Steam clean, sanitize, and deodorize interiors
- Wash, wax, polish, and buff vehicle exteriors
- Clean wheels, tires, windows, trim, and other vehicle components
- Restock detailing supplies, chemicals, and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicle and tools
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling standards
- Complete assigned jobs within scheduled timeframes
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- Must have reliable personal transportation
- Ability to pass a background/MVR check
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of professional auto detailing experience
- Experience using polishing or buffing machines
- Prior customer service experience
