Key Responsibilities
- Design and Plan Cloud-Native Solutions: Lead the design of scalable Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions while satisfying stringent compliance standards
- Networking Topologies: Design secure, resilient, and scalable network topologies and strategies for VPC design, subnet routing, and disaster recovery for mission-critical systems
- Cloud Deployments and Integrations: Design, optimize, or develop solutions using the appropriate cloud services and how they integrate with 3rd party systems
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Translate business needs from client leadership (eg: CIO/CTO) and other stakeholders into technical requirements for implementation. Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and optimal deployments
- Agentic Workflows: Create and deploy effective, efficient, and safe Agentic capabilities and workflows
- Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, introducing new technologies and tools that can improve our end solutions
- FinOps: Design for cost-optimized architecture and implement FinOps best practices
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience in cloud technology, demonstrating a clear progression from engineering into architectural design
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and serverless architecture
- Active Google Cloud certifications, or willingness to obtain within one month of joining
- Curiosity, experimentation with latest technologies, and bias for action
- U.S. Citizen
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Experience leading multi-tenant cloud foundations and cloud migrations
- Experience designing secure landing zones with guardrails, org policies, and multi-project structures
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, HIPAA, etc.) and security strategies
- Knowledge of how cloud architecture impacts the deployment of decentralized technologies and agentic workflows
