Assistant Project Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain architectural models in Revit, ensuring alignment with office and client BIM standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary models (MEP, structural, civil) and manage clash detection using tools such as Navisworks.
• Existing conditions surveys and assessments
• Produce and review detailed design and construction documentation, including specifications and reports.
• Participate in QA/QC reviews, code analysis, and technical submittals.
• Support the Project Architect/Manager in developing project deliverables, schedules, and drawing packages.
• Contribute to design discussions, help organize drawing sets, and track consultant coordination items.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant U.S. architectural experience.
• Proven BIM management experience (Revit templates, worksets, model audits, coordination workflows).
• Prior work on SCA or transit/rail projects required and work on higher education projects is highly desirable.
• Architectural registration not required but active pursuit of licensure preferred (AXP/ARE progress expected).
• Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage time and priorities effectively across multiple active projects.

Salary Range: $75,000-92,500 SYSTRA USA is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
