SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Junior SharePoint Developer for a HYBRID opportunity in the DC area. Candidate will support web development, SharePoint administration, and content management efforts for the company, contributing to internal/external sites, troubleshooting issues, and supporting ongoing modernization initiatives.
Requirements of the Junior SharePoint Developer
- Ability to work 1 day onsite per week in Washington, DC.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Experience administering Windows Server 2016/2019.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows servers and desktops/laptops (XP/Windows 7).
- Experience administering Microsoft SharePoint Power Platform Sites and Services.
- Experience managing users in Active Directory.
- Experience troubleshooting SharePoint issues and maintaining SharePoint content.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience administering online meeting tools such as WebEx, Zoom, and MS Teams.
- Basic understanding of development tools such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities of the Junior SharePoint Developer
- Provide technical and project leadership support for web development, monitoring, and customer communications.
- Design and build web pages using tools such as Dreamweaver, SharePoint Designer, Drupal, and other web applications.
- Plan, design, implement, and maintain internet and intranet websites in coordination with government stakeholders.
- Develop content for both internal and external websites; contribute to visual communication products.
- Build responsive, multi-platform web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, SVG, and media queries.
- Assist with operations and maintenance of customer websites.
- Evaluate new and emerging web technologies to support mission objectives.
- Perform analysis and assessments to recommend system or process improvements.
- Provide expertise and consultation on web content and design issues.
- Debug intranet applications as needed.
- Develop, deploy, document, train, and support users on custom SharePoint solutions for data tracking and reporting.
- Support migration efforts for internet/intranet sites, including documentation, training, and solution development.
- Provide and track help desk support for web-related issues via email, phone, and in-person.
