Systems Unlimited Inc. is looking to hire the next Supported Living Program Administrator. This position leads a team of Service Coordinators and reports to the Director of SCL.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership through supporting staff and the individuals we serve in the following ways:
- Coordinating and managing program operations while ensuring compliance
- Ensuring that department billing is completed monthly by the respective deadlines
- Guaranteeing continuous quality improvement of individualized programs and services
- Participating in committees or groups that advance the mission and vision of the agency
- Working with support divisions to ensure recommendations are implemented
- Assuring that inter-disciplinary teams are advocating for services consistent with the mission and philosophy of the agency
- Making certain staffing levels are appropriate for the services and actual staffing is following agency quality standards
- Reviewing service plans and documentation for quality; making certain files are kept current and maintained in accordance with agency policies and procedures; ensuring accrediting standards and funding regulations are met
- Checking that supported community living locations are in good condition, that they meet agency standards for cleanliness, and that they are environmentally safe
- Supervising assigned department personnel by hiring, evaluating, training, scheduling, ensuring accuracy, assuring timeliness, and making certain of the completion of all work performed by direct supports – also educating and training direct reports on department and agency policies
- Meeting with assigned staff on a regular basis to identify and resolve problems; manage projects; and review work processes and procedures
- Identifying and promoting internal and external training for staff in Iowa City and surrounding areas
Requirements
The applicant should have experience in the following areas:
- A BA/BS in a Human Services discipline and three years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities or a combination of education and experience which totals six years
- Four years of management and supervisory experience
- Administrative experience is highly desirable
- Excellent verbal and writing skills are a necessity
- Experience working with people with disabilities and implementing service provision strategies
- Applicant must maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record that is acceptable from a risk management perspective
This position works primarily business hours M-F 8:00am-4:30pm. Occasional work in the evenings or on weekends may be required. This position is located in Iowa City, but occasional travel to outlying service areas is required.
