Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Drive forklift and maintain necessary certification
- Route or deliver materials to correct storage or manufacturing locations
- Perform shipping/receiving function with regards to material handling; utilize loading dock equipment to ensure a safe loading and unloading process is completed
- Check goods received to purchase orders or receiving slips, maintain records, and prepare receiving reports
- Check quantity, type, size, part numbers, dimensions, etc. to properly identify materials
- Responsible for labeling, storing, and inventorying items
- Process warranty items such as entering Returned Goods Authorizations into
- database
- Work with Purchasing and Inventory Control to facilitate accurate inventory levels and
- necessary adjustments
- Operate cranes and hoists
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
- No minimum education required
- 2 years shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Proficiency in loading all trailers, flat beds, and vans
