Description Of Duties And Job Responsibilities
- Take various materials, parts and assemblies from parts warehouse or other staging locations to their points by use of pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Locate, pull, and provide specified materials and/or items as needed by work cells and assemblers
- Maintains department replenishment systems (Kanban)
- Perform scanning functions in the ERP system for receiving product
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
- No minimum education required
- No prior experience required
- Capable of sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit up
- Ability to use hand to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk or hear
- Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience as order picker or other warehouse position
- Experience in handling pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
