Job Summary

The Service Delivery Coordinator is responsible for managing customer and internal technical activities to ensure the successful delivery of IT services and projects. This role focuses on maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating cross-functional technical efforts, and ensuring all work is performed efficiently, accurately, and within budget. The position plays a vital role in bridging communication between customers, systems engineers, and software teams to ensure seamless service execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technical activities and project tasks to meet service delivery and project management objectives.
  • Maintain close customer contact and provide excellent customer service while ensuring cost-effective and profitable project execution.
  • Collaborate closely with systems engineering and software development teams to support technical implementations.
  • Develop a strong understanding of fundamental IT concepts, including desktops, servers, networking, hosting, and software development.
  • Interpret and manage technical documentation such as software specifications, network diagrams, and task notes.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing technical quotations, invoices, and other project-related documents.
  • Communicate technical information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.
  • Manage and respond to a high volume of communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure accuracy, prioritization, and attention to detail in all project coordination activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support service delivery and operational excellence.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • Associate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT service delivery, project coordination, or technical support.
  • Basic working knowledge of software engineering, IT systems support, and information systems engineering.

Special Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance.
  • Local candidates preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to interpret software specifications, technical notes, and network diagrams.
  • Demonstrated capacity to learn new technologies, processes, and systems quickly.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Commitment to accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and independently as needed.

Additional Desired Characteristics

  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Exposure to IT service management (ITSM) frameworks or technical writing.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced technical or engineering environment.

Work Environment

  • Standard office setting with regular business hours.
  • Primarily onsite with limited travel as needed to support client engagements or internal meetings.
  • Professional business-casual work environment.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
