Startup Technician

Systems Contractors is a commercial and industrial HVAC contractor offering end-to-end service for our customers, from design to completion. We specialize in solutions for commercial and industrial facilities, ductwork/metal fabrication, piping, service, custom air handling units and building automation systems. 

Hiring an HVAC Field Startup - Commissioning Technician 

Be a part of our service team! This position travels to new installation sites to conduct the final phase of installation, test, and startup new commercial and industrial equipment. 

What you will be doing: 

·         Pre startup and startup of Commercial and industrial Equipment 

·         Installing condensate drains, refrigerant pipe, starting ductless split systems and some controls wiring etc. 

·         Some travel required 

Qualifications / Skills: 

·         Valid driver's license and insurable driving record 

·         EPA Universal Certification 

·         2 years of HVAC Startup / Commissioning experience 

·         Experience with low voltage wiring, installing refrigeration lines and evacuation and start-up of equipment 

·         Experience troubleshooting equipment 

·         Experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and blueprints 

·         Safety knowledge of tools and surroundings and ability to comply with all safety rules 

·         Able to work as team or independently 

·         High school diploma or equivalent 

·         Pass background check and drug screen

Work Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm, 4-10 hours days, with overtime.
