What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powder Coat Paint & Metal Fabrication Technician position at SYSTEMATICS, INC.?
We are seeking a Powder Coat Paint & Metal Fabrication Technician to become an integral part of our team! This position will work closely with other metal fabrication technicians and General Assembly to fulfill and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production needs.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, finish, paint, bake, and transport fabricated metal products
- Maintain metal finishing and paint equipment day-to-day & communicate performance & repair needs with Management
- Organize and communicate paint product inventory needs with Management for this position
- Follow in-house best practices to optimize production quality and efficiency
- Assist with Metal Fabrication as production schedules require
- Willingness to receive delegated tasks that assist in other General Assembly departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, and powder coat painting desired
- Familiarity with metal fabrication & manufacturing safety and best practices desired
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs, as well as lift 50 lbs overhead
- Ability to work on your feet for at 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to endure environmental stress of fluctuating temperatures (un-airconditioned warehouse), namely heat
- The desire to be a team player and help fellow employees succeed as well
- The ability to work for long periods alone, as well as periods of working in teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
