Surgery Scheduler

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule procedures/surgeries per physician orders.
• Answer incoming calls from patients regarding preparation instructions for upcoming procedures.
• Provide clear, accurate, and compassionate guidance while addressing patient questions and concerns.
• Ensure patients understand required preparation steps to support a positive care experience.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

NOTE: Previous Surgery/Procedure Scheduling experience is required. Preference given to those that have EPIC experience. Manager will only consider those that are local.

• • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience and/or training with computer applications required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience and/or training in a position of similar responsibility and complexity required.
  • Experience and/or training with medical/insurance terminology preferred.
