Job Title – CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist
Unit – Diagnostic Imaging
Duration of Assignment – 13 Weeks
Location – Hermiston, OR
Shift – Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3x12 Hours/Week
Guarantee Hours – 36 Hours/Week
Salary Range – Up to $78/Hour
Job Duties:
- Perform both CT and X-ray procedures (approximately 50/50 split)
- Operate CT scanners and radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and safety
- Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patient response
- Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure accurate documentation
- Maintain patient records and imaging data in compliance with standards
- Assist physicians during interventional and fluoroscopic procedures
- Follow radiation safety protocols and minimize exposure to patients and staff
- Provide patient education and emotional support during procedures
- Float to X-ray department as needed based on workload
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (CT)
- Active OBMI license (Oregon Board of Medical Imaging)
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with venipuncture and contrast administration
- Strong knowledge of CT protocols (Head, Spine, Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis)
- Ability to work night shifts and float between CT and X-ray
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills.
