S³ Inc. is seeking a Proposal Manager to join our proposal and publications team at our corporate HQ in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL.
Duties:
The Proposal Manager is responsible for supporting the preparation of contract and task order proposals, as well as marketing and document development for the company by accomplishing a wide variety of tasks in support of technical units (Business Units and Subsidiaries), the Headquarters Business Operations Staff, and the Corporate Business Development Section.
Ensures top-quality assistance to S³ for proposal development, document preparation and proofing, and creation and revision of marketing materials.
Prepares proposal color reviews. They may also assist Business Development managers in preparing the corporate marketing briefings.
Reports directly to the Department Manager of Publications and Proposals for overall performance.
Additional responsibilities include:
Assist other Proposal Managers in providing simultaneous support to multiple capture and proposal teams.
Assist Proposal Teams prepare government and commercial data calls, prepare kickoff meetings, prepare templates and color reviews for RFI, RFQ, RFP, TO proposals; develop corporate business elements and conference briefings; prepare, publish, order, and maintain inventory of assorted marketing materials; prepare proposal compliance matrices; and acquire and maintain inventory of production materials.
Gather input from Program Managers and other assigned writers, prepare proposal templates, and ensure response compliance with SOW/PWS requirements.
Populate and upload the Proposal Reference Library, Past Performance Library, Technical Unit Quad-Chart Library, and Marketing Library.
Assist in implementing Business Development marketing plans through social media presence for S³ on Facebook, LinkedIn, and other outlets.
Additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years related experience supporting research for Academia, Industry, or U.S. Government.
