S³, Inc. has an opening for an Acquisition Security Specialist for the SHIELD Project Office at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Description:
The Contractor Program Security Specialist will manage and execute all aspects of acquisition security. This is a full-time, in-office position (40 hours per week) that requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
The Acquisition Security Analyst will act as a dedicated acquisition security specialist, working independently with minimal oversight to support the daily operations of all functional security areas. This includes hands-on support for personnel security, information security, OPSEC, industrial security, foreign disclosure, and test site security.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare critical security documentation, including Security Classification Guides (SCGs), OPSEC plans, DD254s, security incident reports, and briefings.
· Support new acquisitions and competitive acquisition efforts is highly desired (a plus).
· Maintain a strong customer service orientation for Project Office personnel.
· Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Management Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics.
· Minimum of 4 years of progressive Program Security experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
· A minimum of a SECRET security clearance is required; an active Top Secret (TS) clearance is a plus.
· 4 out of 5 proficiency using MS Office Suite for analysis, research, and document management.
· Have held responsibility for overseeing program security in a project office environment.
· Have handled sensitive information using Foreign Disclosure and COMSEC protocols in your past security roles.
