System One is seeking a senior-level UI/UX Designer for a large client in the Spring/Houston, TX, area. The ideal candidate will have at least 7-10 years' experience working in UI/UX Design, in addition to experience in creating wireframes, prototyping, and designing graphic elements.

- Creating wireframes: Creating low-fidelity and high-fidelity mockups that show the structure and layout of product screens
- Prototyping: Creating prototypes to visualize designs before development
- Designing graphic elements: Creating menus, tabs, and other UI elements
- Developing navigation components: Building navigation for the product
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and business SMEs
- Prepare and present draft to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Adjust designs based on user feedback and maturity of value delivery
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems and pain points (e.g., responsiveness, friction, hidden value)
Required Skills and Experience- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role (7 years)
- Expert level experience with design and wireframe tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, etc.)
- Portfolio of design projects
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Leverage active listening skills and client empathy to affect design ideas and product improvements
- Team player who thrives in matrixed organizations and with various stakeholders at all levels
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in technology related field (e.g., Graphic Design, Product Design, Marketing, Human-Computer Interaction, etc.) or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills and Qualifications- Experience in using Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Jira Product Discovery)
- Foundational knowledge of Product Development and Management
- Experience in Agile Development (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Certifications: Certified Professional in User Interface Design (CPUX-UID), Certified Usability Analyst (CUA), Certified User Experience Analyst (CXA), Adobe Certified Professional, Figma UI/UX Design Essentials
