What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transmission Material Analyst position at System One?
Job Title: Transmission Material Analyst
Location: Forest Park, Georgia
Type: 5 month Contract
Compensation: $45.00
Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Hours: Four ten-hour days, from 7:00am to 5:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. The work week could either be Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Create Purchase Requisitions to ensure timely procurement of transmission materials.
- Expedite materials required for transmission construction, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to meet project schedules.
- Partner closely with the 3PL contractor and teams in Construction, Engineering, Procurement, and Traffic for accurate materials planning and execution.
- Review and validate Transmission Bills of Material for accuracy.
- Reconcile system data between TEAMS and MAXIMO.
- Source materials through vendor quotes and purchase requisitions; support invoice reconciliation.
- Maintain inventory controls and audit readiness, including emergency and storm restoration preparedness.
- Assist in planning and executing transmission system expansion or improvement projects.
- Collaborate with supply chain vendors and suppliers to procure components and negotiate service contracts.
Requirements
- Knowledge of transmission materials or the ability to quickly learn this area is essential.
- Support Transmission Capital projects within Supply Chain through coordination and procurement activities.
