Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Task Order Manager to oversee repair and maintenance projects on U.S. Navy ships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and supervision, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and meet all specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee repair and maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Read and interpret instructions, specifications, and blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and coordinate project efforts.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Project software to track progress, prepare reports, and analyze data.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and standards related to project management within the defense industry.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager or supervisor in repair and maintenance on U.S. Navy ships.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, including blueprints and specifications.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Project software.
• Must possess a valid Government Security Clearance.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate project needs clearly.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Regular physical activity including walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, and prolonged sitting.
• Ability to operate office equipment such as phones, computers, copiers, and fax machines with or without assistance.
