Joule is working with a client in Columbus, Ohio that is looking to hire a Study Coordinator to their team. This is a permanent position working inside a variety of therapeutic areas. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience working inside clinical research.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple research protocols ensuring efficient study operations and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Serve as a liaison between site research personnel, sponsors, and supervisors to facilitate smooth communication and process flow.
- Collaborate with various hospital departments, finance, IRB, and other stakeholders to manage study schedules and documentation.
- Review study design, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and consent procedures, ensuring participant protection and data integrity.
- Verify accurate data collection, complete case report forms, and monitor for missing or implausible data.
- Create source documentation tools when not provided by sponsors; manage shipment of drugs, devices, and supplies.
- Report adverse events, deviations, violations, and communicate protocol issues promptly.
- Participate in on-site meetings, investigator meetings, conference calls, and audits as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; 2 years of relevant research experience or equivalent combined education and experience.
- Certified Clinical Research Coordinator preferred.
- Knowledge of organizational policies, SOPs, ICH guidelines, and federal regulations related to clinical research.
- Effective communication, strong organizational, and time management skills.
- Basic clinical trial procedures including ECG acquisition, phlebotomy, specimen processing, handling, storing, and shipping.
- Ability to perform clinical tasks such as ECG, phlebotomy, and specimen handling with competency demonstrated regularly.
