Job Title: Staff Engineer - Site Civil

Compensation: $55000 - $80000 annually, DOE
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Staff Engineer (Site/Civil) with at least 2 years of related field experience to support a variety of site/civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineering projects. This role offers hands-on field work, exposure to design and project coordination, and strong opportunities for professional growth. EIT preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform field inspections, soil classification, sampling, and monitoring well oversight

Conduct routine geotechnical and environmental testing

Assist with design calculations, drafting guidance, and project deliverables

Support project scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and reporting

Coordinate with internal teams and contribute to technical problem-solving

Travel between 25–100% depending on project needs
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

0–3 years of site/civil, geotechnical, or environmental experience
-
EIT preferred; OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER a plus

Experience with sitework inspection, foundations, utilities, and concrete/asphalt

Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MS Office

Valid driver’s license; ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding field tasks
