Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Compensation: $53 - $70/hr
Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Hours: 40.0 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Support Operations Engineering through the coordination and execution of product transfer and process implementation activities within manufacturing and service operations.
• Assist in the planning, development, and execution of engineering deliverables associated with product transfers, including process validation, inspection readiness, and documentation updates.
• Ensure that quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures are met or improved throughout the transfer and implementation process.
• Participate in evaluating manufacturing and inspection processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with established standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and external suppliers to support successful execution of project timelines and deliverables.
• Provide technical support for process development, equipment readiness, and inspection methods while identifying opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
• Support site readiness activities, maintain and update engineering documentation (e.g., process flows, risk assessments, and work instructions), and enable inspection readiness through measurement system development, data analysis, and training.
• Coordinate gage and fixture management, including enrollment and calibration, and support system and router updates.
• Assist with process and labeling changes, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
• Work independently with moderate guidance, managing assigned tasks while contributing to broader project objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience supporting product transfer projects within manufacturing or similar environments
• Strong understanding of process validation, inspection readiness, and documentation updates
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations teams
• Proficiency in process development, data analysis, and measurement system development
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities
