Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced Scientist II. Ideal candidates should have a Master's degree or 3 years of experience with applying machine learning techniques in pathology imaging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize image analysis pipelines for 2D and 3D biomedical images.
• Perform quantitative analysis of histology, IHC, IF, and multiplex imaging data.
• Apply classical image processing and machine learning methods for feature extraction, segmentation, and classification. Including integration of multiple image analysis platforms (e.g., HALO, Visiopharm, QuPath).
• Collaborate with pathologists, biologists, and data scientists to define analytical endpoints.
• Validate image derived biomarkers and ensure analytical rigor.
• Document workflows and ensure reproducibility of analyses.
• Support interpretation and visualization of image based data for scientific reports.
• Help cross lab collaboration through image and algorithm transfer.

Requirements

• 3 years of related scientific discipline experience or Master’s Degree in related scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in scientific programming languages (R, Python).
• Experience applying machine learning techniques in pathology imaging.
• Knowledge of image analysis tools such as HALO AI, Visiopharm, QuPath, or CellProfiler.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in tumor immunology and histopathology (preferred).
• Previous industry and biotech experience (preferred).
