Regulatory Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Facilitates governance meetings, gathering monthly changes, coordinating deliverables across finance, engineering, and regulatory teams, and ensuring filings are completed accurately and on time.
- A typical day includes running governance meetings, tracking deliverables, providing weekly updates to leadership, coordinating with financial analysts, engineers, and project managers, and supporting testimony writing for regulatory filings.
- Coordinate with a group of about 12–20 people from different departments involved in regulatory filings.
- Role is internally focused (working with finance, engineering, regulatory staff) but also externally facing for regulatory filings and governance meetings with committee members.
- Requires monthly site safety visits (4 per month) in the field, so safety equipment such as PPE is required.
- Most work is office-based, but safety is a consideration during field visits.
Regulatory Projececy Manager Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience, with at least 4–5 regulatory filings managed (each typically lasting 18 months).
- Background in program or project management within regulatory or utility environments strongly preferred
- Regulatory experience, which is highly transferable across utilities and industries (gas, electric, nuclear).
- Regulatory skills are in high demand, and the experience supports long-term career opportunities
- Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- SharePoint (heavy usage)
- Program/project management software experience (any type)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Regulatory filing and testimony writing experience
