Recruiter
System one is partnering with a client seeking an experienced Recruiter for an immediate, confidential contract-to-hire opportunity. This position will primarily focus on full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, and candidate management across multiple departments and business units.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to hit the ground running with recruiting responsibilities, and have a proactive approach to identifying and engaging qualified candidates. In addition to recruiting, this individual will support general HR administration, HRIS maintenance, onboarding, employee records, reporting, and serve as a backup for payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead recruiting efforts across multiple departments, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates throughout the hiring process
- Ability to quickly step into an active recruiting environment and hit the ground running
- Maintain employee records and HR data within the HRIS
- Support onboarding and new employee orientations
- Prepare HR reports, workforce metrics, turnover data, and other management reporting
- Maintain personnel documentation and ensure compliance with employment regulations
- Assist employees and managers with HR-related questions and documentation
- Support HR projects and employee communications
- Provide backup support for payroll processing as needed
- 2 years of HR or recruiting experience
- Recruiting experience is required; candidates must be comfortable with sourcing and actively driving the hiring process
- Experience with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now is a plus
- Payroll experience preferred but not required
- Union environment experience is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Highly organized with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
