Overview
A hands-on production operator supporting a 24/7 regulated operation, responsible for running equipment, maintaining GMP documentation, and safely handling chemicals/hazardous materials while keeping production on schedule and audit-ready.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Follow GMP and FDA procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
- Troubleshoot process issues and escalate maintenance concerns when necessary.
- Safely handle chemicals and hazardous materials while following PPE requirements.
- Maintain production schedules and ensure areas remain audit-ready.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of production experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing; food manufacturing experience is also acceptable.
- Experience working in GMP or FDA-regulated environments and understanding their role within the manufacturing process.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with examples from previous roles.
- Comfortable working around hazardous materials and wearing PPE at all times.
