Process Engineer – Injection Molding (Tooling Focus)

System One is seeking a skilled Process Engineer with strong injection molding and tooling experience to support new product development and process improvement initiatives. This role offers a hands-on, high-impact opportunity within a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
What You’ll Do

Lead process development and improvement for new tooling and injection molding projects.

Plan and execute tool validations, DOE runs, and qualification activities.

Troubleshoot machine, tool, and process issues during development and sampling.

Coordinate and schedule mold samplings with cross-functional teams and production.

Develop and document optimized process parameters, ensuring repeatability and quality.

Travel to tooling suppliers and other facilities to support initial tool sampling and validation.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, documentation accuracy, and process control procedures.

What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves

5 years of injection molding process engineering experience.

Strong background in tooling, mold setup, and process troubleshooting.

Proven ability to independently manage sampling, validation, and process documentation.
Nice-to-Haves -
Degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Experience in medical-grade molding or other regulated manufacturing environments.

Familiarity with DOE methodologies, process monitoring software, and GD&T.
