Packaging Technician

Job Title: Packaging Technician
Location: Wilson, NC
Type: Contract
Compensation: $25 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday – Thursday)10.5-hour per day, 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday), totaling 40 hours per week, with overtime as required

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, clean, and sanitize packaging equipment in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.

• Follow Master Batch Records for packaging oral solid dose (OSD) and other dosage forms.

• Perform in-process inspections and testing to ensure quality standards.

• Complete accurate documentation following GMP guidelines.

• Handle labeling and components (counting, transfers, FIFO, returns).

• Maintain safe work practices and collaborate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• 3 years of pharmaceutical or packaging experience preferred (or equivalent mechanical/industry experience).

• Basic math skills and understanding of the metric system.

• Experience with OSD packaging and serialization preferred.

• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a regulated environment.
