Outside Operator

Job Title: Outside Operator
Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical plant inspections, read field gauges and meters, and record operational logs.
• Start up and shut down machinery, adjusting parameters in the field and coordinating with control room staff.
• Prepare equipment for safe maintenance by tagging and locking out systems (LOTO), and operate heavy tools like forklifts or manlifts.
• Transfer bulk plant chemicals and run routine chemistry tests on steam and cooling systems.

• High school diploma, military service, or a technical/trade school equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a basic grasp of math, electricity, and chemistry.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, holidays, overtime, and handle outside work in varying weather.
