Job Description
- Performs all manual and clerical support functions related to fabrication and assembly work order release, kitting, expediting and provide current status
- Shipping and receiving, outside vendor processing and shop floor expediting
- Inventory Control: focus on kitting, cycle counting, performing both receipt and issuing inventory to and from stock locations.
- Maintain and perform inventory transactions for all stockrooms including customer furnished parts, government furnished equipment, raw materials, project tools, fabrication and purchased parts.
- Use computer systems to maintain inventory, including cycle counting
- Produce shipping and receiving documents and accurately record location of work orders
- May update computer systems to support customer requirements
- Ability to communicate professionally with other support organizations and coworkers in order to effectively achieve common goals.
- Knowledge of MRP systems
- Ability to set priorities and follow direction based on management provided dispatch list's
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:- Stand and work on feet for shifts longer than 8 hours.
- Lift, carry, and move items weighing over 50 pounds as needed.
- Use computer systems to maintain inventory, support production.
