Function of the Group: Manage enterprise infrastructure platforms. Provide innovative, high-value platforms that are foundational to exceptional customer experiences. In the data network infrastructure, responsible for providing the infrastructure for all the applications they reside on - do all the network functions
Initiatives/Projects: Hardware and software end of life initiatives, monitoring queues, ensuring they are getting assigned
Industry background: Technology background required, banking is a nice to have
Team Dynamic: Total of 15, 11 FTEs, 4 contractors, Enterprise Infrastructure Engineers
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of end of life refresh equipment
- New network infrastructure build outs for applications onboarding
Must Have Technical Skills:
- Level 4 – 7-10 years experience:
- Experience in design, implementation and 24x7 support of complex data center networks across multiple locations
- Knowledge of Cisco network equipment including Cisco Nexus 9K/7K/5K/3K/2K series of Data Center switches running NX-OS, Cisco CRS, ASR9K & NCS 55XX devices running IOS-XR, Cisco ISR4K, ASR1K, Catalyst 8300/9400/4500 series of routers/switches running IOS-XE and Arista 7010TX,7060CX2, 7280CR2/3, 7280SR2/3 series of Data Center switches running EOS.
- Knowledge of Internet Protocols/network/services/technologies such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, SDN, VXLAN, EVPN, Leaf/Spine fabric, etc.
- Ability to identify network operational tasks and automate them via Python, Ansible, etc.
Education/Certifications: No degree required, relevant work experience, CCNP data center, CCIE data center certifications nice to have
