IT Project Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

Lead and manage multiple high-risk, complex projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and consultants to meet project objectives and resolve challenges effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of several concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  
• Coordinate internal and external resources to meet project milestones and resolve issues promptly.
  
• Define project goals and maintain oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Organize and allocate resources to achieve targeted outcomes.
  
• Provide clear guidance and delegate responsibilities across diverse teams.
  
• Identify project risks and opportunities, offering strategic input to stakeholders.
  
• Escalate concerns and updates to stakeholders with professionalism and clarity.
  
• Maintain consistent communication with team members to manage expectations.

  • Implement adjustments and communicate changes effectively to all involved parties.
    
  • Develop and articulate project scope, deliverables, and expectations.
    
  • Monitor progress and prioritize tasks to stay within budget and resource limits.
    
  • Identify resource gaps and escalate needs appropriately.
    
  • Track and report on project status and financials, including monthly forecasts.
    
  • Follow the IT-defined Project Life Cycle methodology.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
    
  • Proven experience in resource planning, financial tracking, prioritization, and budgeting.
    
  • Strong grasp of project management principles and methodologies.
    
  • Background in leading IT projects and managing external partnerships.
    
  • Demonstrated success in handling multiple major projects simultaneously.
    
  • Experience in developing IT processes and educating business units on project delivery.
    
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
    
  • Skilled in team coordination and stakeholder engagement across departments, including:

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
    
  • Capable of preparing and leading formal presentations and meetings.
    
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
    
  • Valid driver’s license required; travel to other locations may be necessary.
    
  • PMP certification preferred.
    
  • Ability to navigate office environments and travel as needed.
