Inventory Control / Shipping Specialist Job Duties:
- Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory records
- Oversee a small team of employees
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Coordinate with purchasing, receiving, and warehouse staff
- Perform shipping duties
- Enter and update inventory data in inventory management systems
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory
- Prepare inventory reports and documentation
- Support process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
Inventory Control / Shipping Specialist Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous managerial experience
- 1–3 years of inventory control, warehouse, or related experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software preferred
- Ability to analyze data and solve problems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
