Responsibilities
- Maintain production area in a clean and orderly manner consistent with GMP standards
- Handle Biological Materials and Hazardous materials safely
- Perform tank clean out, sterilization, and maintenance
- Prepare glassware, filters, and other production materials necessary for production runs
- Follow production schedules for manufacturing processes
- Understand and adhere to quality procedures
- Operate equipment such as centrifuges, filtration units, pH meters, balances, and mixers
- Utilize SAP or other enterprise management software (preferred)
Requirements
- AS or BS degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences, or high school diploma with 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Formulations experience with Liquid or solid formulations
- Experience weighing chemicals and raw materials
- Ability to perform conversion calculations (mg/ml to kg/l)
- Experience measuring aqueous solutions
- Prior batch making experience in Food, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical industries
- Working knowledge of formulation sheets
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
