System One is currently seeking an Engineer on a 12 month contract position located in Eau Claire, WI.
Engineer Responsibilities:
- Support hydro plant projects due to internal reorganization
- Will work approximately 10 projects per year across 25 hydro facilities (primarily in WI one in MN)
- Develop bid/design specifications
- Coordinate projects from initiation through closeout
- Work with Hydro plant management and contractors
- Travel required to hydro sites (seasonal: summer/fall for construction; winter/spring for design/closeout)
- 20-30% travel to sites mostly summer/fall seasons
Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical Controls or Civil/Structural) from ABET accredited university
- Valid Drivers License
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- FE/EIT certification preferred
- PE License is a plus
- PMP certification or project management background preferred
- SAP
- Scheduling tools preferred
- Minimum of 2 years engineering experience
- Hydro or industrial experience strongly preferred
- Hydro familiarity (6 months) is a plus
