Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CSA Inspector to perform field inspections and quality oversight on civil, structural, and architectural construction work. This role ensures construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project requirements from foundation through final finishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily and milestone inspections of civil (earthwork, foundations, utilities), structural (formwork, rebar, concrete, steel), and architectural (masonry, finishes, doors/windows, interiors/exteriors) work
- Verify construction aligns with drawings, specifications, and approved methods
- Inspect materials upon delivery for compliance with project requirements
- Identify, document, and report defects or non-conformances and verify corrective actions
- Prepare inspection reports, daily logs, NCRs, and inspection requests
- Witness required testing and coordinate with testing labs as needed
- Communicate with contractors, engineers, and project teams to resolve quality issues
- Support punch lists, final inspections, and project closeout
Required Experience & Skills
- 3 years of hands-on experience in construction inspection, quality control, or site supervision (CSA scope)
- Strong ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction best practices
- Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working on active construction sites in varying conditions
Additional Information
- Contract duration: 3 months
- Field-based role with some reporting time
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required
