Position: Commercial HVAC Service Technician
Location: Northern Colorado (Fort Collins Area)
Pay: $32 - $48/hr DOE
Summary: We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install commercial HVAC equipment throughout Northern Colorado.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to commercial HVAC service calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install commercial HVAC equipment.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and recommendations.
- Follow troubleshooting procedures and utilize diagnostic tools to identify equipment problems.
- Verify system operation, safety controls, and limit controls before leaving job sites.
- Ensure customer concerns are addressed and documented.
- Schedule service visits and maintain communication regarding arrival and departure times.
- Complete service reports and required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Keep management informed of customer concerns, project updates, and service-related issues.
- Maintain current technical knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and industry best practices.
- Review technical manuals and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC service and maintenance experience.
- Universal EPA Certification required.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with commercial HVAC systems, including:
- Chillers
- Air handlers
- Pumps
- Cooling towers
- Boilers
- Refrigeration systems
- Building controls and automation systems
- Packaged rooftop units
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
