Responsibilities
- Manage AWS infrastructure to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.
- Coordinate OS patching (Linux/RedHat) and conduct performance optimization.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning strategies.
- Coordinate disaster recovery (DR) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) activities.
- Oversee backup infrastructure coordination and enforce security hardening measures.
- Plan for downtime and environment management to ensure high system availability.
- Support cost optimization initiatives and develop automation (IaC, scripts) where applicable.
- 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring, networking, security, and OS patching (Linux/RedHat).
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and COOP planning.
- Desired: AWS Solutions Architect certification.
