Position Overview
We are seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including linear pipelines and related utility systems. This role functions in a project engineering technician capacity, supporting engineering and design teams in developing and modifying technical deliverables.
The position focuses heavily on site drainage, grading, and utility plan development using Autodesk Civil 3D and related design software.
Key Responsibilities

Develop site drainage, grading, and utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation.

Create and modify plan and profile drawings, alignments, pipe networks, and grading surfaces.

Interpret engineering design inputs and prepare moderately complex deliverables.

Perform design calculations, material quantity takeoffs, and estimates.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and document control procedures.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams to exchange project information and support design development.

Review deliverables for quality and accuracy.

Support field activities as needed.

Provide technical guidance to junior team members when appropriate.

Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of related civil drafting/design experience.

Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, including:
