Product Development Engineer

System One is currently seeking a
Product Development Engineer on a 12 month contract position located in Birmingham, AL.
Product Development Engineer Responsibilities :
- Manage and coordinate various aspects of project development. This includes project planning, design, budgeting, and execution, with a focus on ensuring that projects are completed successfully and in accordance with established quality and time standards.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate project viability, potential risks, and return on investment.
- Oversee the design phase, working with engineers and designers to create detailed project plans, specifications, and blueprints.
- Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and make adjustments to stay within budgetary constraints.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
- Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to address challenges and maintain project progress.
- Ensure that projects adhere to all relevant regulations, permits, and legal requirements.
- Maintain open and transparent communication with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and contractors.
- Monitor project progress, identify any delays or issues, and take corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to management and clients.
