PMO Specialist / Lead - Project Management Office (PMO)

Contract Duration : 12 Months
System One is seeking a Project Management Office (PMO) Specialist / Lead with expertise in project planning, risk management, compliance, or performance analysis . This role is a 12-month contract opportunity based in Bellevue, WA , supporting multiple advanced nuclear projects within the corporate PMO.
Position Overview :
As a key member of the corporate PMO , the PMO Specialist / Lead plays a critical role in ensuring project success by providing specialized guidance, oversight, and performance analysis. Working closely with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders , this role ensures strategic alignment, mitigates risks, and drives the execution of key project objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support specialized project management functions such as planning, scheduling, risk assessment, or compliance oversight , ensuring seamless integration into broader project frameworks.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Cost Performance Index (CPI) and Schedule Performance Index (SPI) , providing monthly progress metrics and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, project teams, and the PMO to shape and execute corporate-level project strategies.
- Continuously improve project management methodologies, tools, and workflows by integrating industry best practices and specialized knowledge.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization and with stakeholders to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment on project objectives.
- Provide subject matter expertise in planning, risk management, compliance, and performance analysis to address challenges and optimize project outcomes.
- Lead change management initiatives , including training and support for the adoption of new processes and tools.
- Report regularly to the Senior Director of PMO and senior leadership on project status, risks, and key performance metrics, offering expert recommendations for corrective actions.
