Role: VMWare Network Systems Admin
Location: Harrisburg, PA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months Contract (w/ Further Extension)
Job Description: Seeking an experienced VMware and Networking Systems administration.
This position is responsible for design, implementation, administration, and maintenance of agency wide network hardware and software.
Client's infrastructure is the critical foundation of the many deliverables.
The ideal candidate should be capable of working collaboratively between teams while also demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Mandated Skills/Experience:
- VMware administration: VmWare products of vSphere, vCenter, vSan, NSX, VCF, Log Insight
- Administration of physical and virtual servers
- Networking systems administration.
- Operating systems of Microsoft, Redhat, and Linux appliances
- Designing, implementing, and maintenance of complex systems
- Systems optimization, patch management, and lifecycle planning
- Active Directory, DHCP, DNS administration
- Data backup and recovery
