Position Overview:

The Supervising Pharmacist ensures the safe, accurate, and efficient delivery of pharmacy services while leading our small team with professionalism, care, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients with warmth and provide knowledgeable, personalized service for prescriptions, OTC products, and health questions.
• Accurately prepare, check, and dispense medications in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Review and interpret prescriptions, ensuring safety, accuracy, and therapeutic appropriateness.
• Maintain professional licensure and stay current on new medications, therapies, and pharmacy best practices.
• Oversee and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a supportive, collaborative work environment.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and storage to minimize waste and ensure availability of key medications.
• Communicate directly with prescribers to clarify orders and resolve patient care issues.
• Lead clinical initiatives such as immunizations, MTM, adherence programs, and chronic disease support.
• Handle insurance claims accurately and efficiently, resolving issues as needed.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and security.

Base Pay: $ $61.00 per hour
