Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud and infrastructure solutions using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Develop reusable, version-controlled automation for resource provisioning and configuration.
- Build, administer, and optimize Kubernetes environments for containerized applications.
- Partner with application and data teams to deploy, scale, troubleshoot, and improve platform reliability.
- Create automation scripts using Python or similar scripting languages.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines, integrating infrastructure deployment and application delivery workflows.
- Design and maintain reliable infrastructure for data platforms and data applications.
- Implement Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration practices.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, observability, and operational health standards.
- Apply security best practices that support data protection, privacy, and applicable compliance requirements.
- Professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, site reliability engineering, or a closely related field.
- Strong hands-on Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience.
- Strong Kubernetes and Docker experience in production environments.
- Experience designing or supporting scalable infrastructure for data platforms or data-intensive applications.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.
- Python or comparable scripting/automation experience.
- Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, security, and reliability practices.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering, application, and data teams.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience with Git-based infrastructure workflows and code reviews.
- Experience with cloud-native security, secrets management, and policy controls.
- Familiarity with data-platform technologies, distributed systems, or analytics workloads.
