Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Adobe Target Developer with strong expertise in digital personalization, experimentation, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and customer journey analytics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing personalized digital experiences and cross-channel customer journeys.

The role involves hands-on Adobe Target development, AI/ML-related engineering activities, analytics implementation, and end-to-end delivery management. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technology teams to translate business objectives into measurable personalization strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, develop, implement, and quality-assure personalization activities in Adobe Target.
Design and execute A/B tests, multivariate tests, Experience Targeting, and Automated Personalization.
Build cross-channel customer journeys and campaigns using Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
Work with Adobe Experience Platform profiles, audiences, events, and datasets.
Develop custom JavaScript and jQuery solutions for personalization offers and page-level experience modifications.
Build and maintain Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) data views, segments, calculated metrics, and Workspace reports.
Write SQL queries to explore, validate, and troubleshoot data across AEP datasets and Query Service.
Collaborate with data engineering teams on data integration, XDM schemas, identity management, and data ingestion.
Work with Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK, batch ingestion, streaming data, and data layers.
Apply AI/ML engineering techniques to support personalization and experimentation initiatives.
Translate business objectives into testing roadmaps, hypotheses, KPIs, and success metrics.
Analyse experiment and campaign performance and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Maintain technical documentation, naming conventions, QA checklists, and delivery standards.
Manage end-to-end delivery, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and stakeholder communication.
Participate in Scrum ceremonies and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.

Primary Skills (Must-Have)

Adobe Target Development – Personalization, experimentation, A/B testing, and multivariate testing.
AI/ML Engineering – Experience supporting AI/ML-driven development and personalization initiatives.
Scrum / Agile Methodology – Sprint planning, delivery coordination, and collaboration.
JavaScript and jQuery – Custom development, DOM manipulation, and debugging.
Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) – Profiles, audiences, XDM schemas, datasets, and data ingestion.
Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) – Customer journeys and campaign development.
SQL – Data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) – Reporting, segments, calculated metrics, and Workspace.

Secondary Skills

Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK.
Data layer implementation and browser debugging.
Real-Time Customer Profile and identity namespaces.
Batch and streaming data ingestion.
Automated Personalization and Experience Targeting.
Experimentation strategy and conversion optimization.
Digital analytics and performance measurement.

End-to-end project delivery and stakeholder management.
Technical documentation and quality assurance processes.

Required Qualifications

10 years of overall professional experience in relevant technology roles.
Approximately 5 years of experience in digital personalization or experimentation, with hands-on Adobe Target expertise.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and SQL.
Practical experience with Adobe Experience Platform and customer data concepts.
Experience developing personalization campaigns, customer journeys, and analytics reports.
Understanding of AI/ML engineering concepts and their application to digital experiences.
Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and delivery management skills.
