ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in developing, optimizing, and supporting large-scale, high-volume transactional and analytical data-processing solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SQL/PL/SQL development, database performance tuning, ETL processing, batch processing, data integration, and production support within enterprise environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions.

  • Design scalable database solutions for high-volume transactional and analytical workloads.

  • Optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, functions, and ETL processes.

  • Perform database performance tuning for systems processing millions of records.

  • Implement indexing, partitioning, query execution plans, and bulk-processing strategies.

  • Develop scalable batch-processing and real-time data-integration solutions.

  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and optimal system performance.

  • Monitor Oracle database performance and troubleshoot production issues.

  • Support database optimization and performance-monitoring initiatives.

  • Implement appropriate data-archiving strategies.

  • Provide production support and resolve database-related technical issues.

  • Collaborate with application, data, and business teams to deliver reliable database solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

  • Extensive experience with stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.

  • Strong experience with SQL query optimization and performance tuning.

  • Experience with database indexing and partitioning.

  • Strong knowledge of query execution plans and database performance analysis.

  • Experience with bulk data processing and high-volume data environments.

  • Experience developing ETL and data-integration solutions.

  • Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture.

  • Experience with production support and database troubleshooting.

  • Strong understanding of data integrity and performance optimization.

NICE-TO-HAVE

  • Experience with Symphony GOLD.

  • Experience with Aldata.

  • Experience with retail merchandising applications.

  • Experience supporting large-scale retail or supply-chain data environments.
