Role Description
This is a full-time role based in Chicago, IL. The Energy Systems Field Engineer will be responsible for programming, graphics development, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining energy management systems at commercial and industrial facilities. The role involves providing on-site technical support, diagnosing and resolving system issues, and collaborating with project teams to ensure successful system deployment and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Alerton, Delta, Siemens, or Tridium to effectively install, commission, and service building automation systems.
- Strong Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and possess a general understanding of automation systems and energy management solutions.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems.
- Familiarity with open protocol automation platforms, big data, or cloud-based analytics is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Willingness to travel locally to client sites as required
