We are seeking a dedicated, friendly, and reliable periodontal assistant to join our growing dental practice. As a periodontal assistant, you will support our periodontist in providing excellent patient care, assisting with surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed during their visit. This team member will travel between Parker, Centennial and Lone Tree locations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the periodontist with periodontal surgeries, implant placement, and maintenance procedures.
- Take and process digital X-rays and intraoral photos.
- Maintain a clean, organized operatory and sterilization area.
- Review medical histories and prepare patients for treatment.
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education.
- Document treatments accurately in patient charts.
- Help with inventory and ordering of supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- Dental assisting experience (periodontal or surgical assisting preferred but willing to train the right candidate).
- Active CPR certification.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- A caring, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
